Booch Lifehack: How To Make Your Parties Bubbly and Bright For Everyone

Kombucha isn’t just for yoga studios, gym bags, and hippies - did you know it can party too?

In December, there are 14 religious holidays. If you wanted to consider things like National Rubber Ducky Day a cause for celebration, in January, you have your choice of 88 different holidays to celebrate. It’s as if the world collectively decided that these two months needed the most reasons to party as humanly possible. And really, we’re on board with it.

With all this possibility for celebration come all the get-togethers, parties and events. These can be extremely fun (ok, well, not all the time...) but also incredibly stressful for the host, because you have a room full of people, and have to figure out how to make all of them happy. Maybe you’re even a person who avoids going to these parties because you’re a little sick of all the questions when you simply say you don’t drink. Nothing seems to get quite a reaction, or as many questions, as that statement, does it?

Well, whether that’s you, or you’re a hip, healthy party host, we have an answer for you: kombucha. It’s kind of our answer to everything, if you didn’t notice.

We want to have a talk with all the non-drinkers out there, first. Whatever your reason, we know it can leave you feeling a little left out, and often cornered. But you can still have bad ass drinks without even a drop of alcohol. Not only is kombucha fizzy, flavorful and colorful, it’s also an extra dose of vitamins, electrolytes, probiotics, healthy herbs and juices. Yes. We’re literally telling you that you can go to a party, and feel better the next day.

Plus, pour your booch in a fancy little wine glass, and people will be asking you what you’re drinking, not all about why you’re not. And yes, some kombucha can have trace amounts of alcohol, but we’re actually certified to be completely alcohol free. We got you covered.

For the ones that do drink, well, we’re not leaving anyone out of this article. Did you know that kombucha can actually help you make some absolutely killer mixed drinks? Rather than sugary, syrupy mixers, or adding to the dose of alcohol in your glass, try kombucha in the recipe. Even with the alcohol in it, all the electrolytes, vitamins, and probiotics still remain in your ‘booch – just keep it chilled. Pretty good way to sneak in some good stuff with your shots. Even if you’re not hosting, what an unexpected surprise to bring and supply a party with, isn’t it? You can totally have your fun and be smart about it too.

Did you drink too much with all these parties? Kombucha doesn’t judge. It’s also amazing for hangovers- shoot over to the popular hangover blog -here-.

Don’t know where to start? Below, we have two recipes for killer kombucha drinks, one cocktail and one alcohol free mocktail to prove to you that ‘booch can be a well-received, inventive party go-to for both drinkers and non-drinkers alike.

The Cranberry Hibiscus Wine Spritzer is a soft, but slightly tart, lighter winter drink. View recipe -here-.
